Snack-Shack

Snack-Shack

The John F. Kennedy High School “Snack Shack” program

This school project consists of offering a great variety of healthy snacks and fresh fruits to our students, in the morning, between 8:00 and 8:30, and in the afternoon, at the dismissal time.

It is important to mention that this is a totally free service for the students. The Snack Shack kiosk is installed at the main entrance of the school building, which is very practical for the students to just ‘’grab” a small delicious breakfast, as they come in.

It is a school administration initiative whose main concern is the well-being of all our students. By providing a fresh breakfast to everyone, especially to the children coming from needy families, is making sure that every student will be lively and ready to start the school day like all his friends. This program’s output is a students’ stronger sense of belonging to the school, where they not only receive the academic knowledge, but they also learn our society human values.
